Always, Sometimes, and Never

I Always

let my phone go dead
like to get out of the house
get really excited when I get to take a nap
pray no one gets hurt when I leave the room
love watching '19 kids and counting'
match, even pjs
take pictures
miss the girls even when I'm away for an hour

I Sometimes

dislike talking on the phone
drink way too much coffee to stay awake
tell Annabelle the same joke over and over
again bc she's the only person who has ever laughed at a joke of mine
get obsessed and cannot do anything else until my house is clean
forget how blessed I really am
cannot believe I already have two kids
write people back on fbook
sit and think about how much fun I had at OBU

I Never

sleep well anymore
mind hearing Annabelle try to sing
thought I would have girls
want to forget what the Lord has saved me from
keep in touch with people too well
sing very loud unless I am leading worship
win against Adam in any game ever
ever get sick of Adelyn smiling all the time

I saw this on this blog and thought it was so cute and decided to try it. :)

Normal Lifeness

I know all my pictures are starting to look the same. These particular pictures have a funny story though. I tried to take a good one of the girls in their white dresses (the ones they ore to the beach) and I could not get them to cooperate etc so I took off their dresses and they were so happy...ha!!

Today when I picked Annabelle up from the church nursery she was a little warm but I thought that she had just been playing super hard...well....when we got home she was still warm so I took her temp and she had a fever. she took her nap fine but was super clingy and still had a fever after she woke up. Anyway, Annabelle threw up tonight, poor thing. I felt sooo bad for her; she has only thrown up twice before this but this time it really scared her. :(

Soooooooo....I hope Annabelle gets better SOON!! I hope we all don't get sick (especially Adelyn!!) and I hope we don't get cabin fever from having to stay inside while she gets well!

OH and I want to update everyone on Adleyn. This past week she sort of turned a new leaf. I mean she has been doing better not spiting up as much but she actually slet once from 8-5:30 without waking up!! (Of course I woke up to check on her etc...such is the life of a mother!) But, we were soooo excited and since then she has had some bad nights but some good too! We are so glad that it seems like she is getting better!!! Yah for that and getting so sleep!!

Anniversary Fun and the Girls

The girls were being so silly tonight. I just love how they interact these days. I can tell they love each other. It is sweet.

My last post was about our anniversary. For our anniversary Adam brought me these beautiful flowers. They are the prettiest flowers he has ever gotten me.

and he gave me this book of e-mails he has kept that we had written each other while we were dating. Also, he copied the video that was in our wedding and gave it to me. I have been wanting to see it again. These gifts were so great. Adam knows that all I care about is him being thoughtful and he was very thoughtful. I was super impressed!

Adam planned dinner and so he took us to Carrabbas (were we got engaged. He did this on purpose and I thought it was sweet.) We split the steak with marsala sauce and it was one of the yummiest things I had ever eaten!

My camera was acting up and so I had to use my Iphone for pics but this is us at the restaurant.

After dinner, we went to the mall and gave each other five dollars to get each other some type of gift. We both gave each other food...haha! I got Adam this cookie cake greeting card (I cheated it was 10 dollars! :) ) and he got me

a delicious chocolate covered strawberry from Godiva! What can I say, we both like food!!

It truly was a great anniversary. I love it that Adam really got creative with a gift; I just think that is the sweetest! I have to say too that my sweet grandparents always send us money for our anniversary and I appreciate it so much; I know my Nanny reads this blog every day and so I just wanted to tell her thank you. We know you don't have to do that and we are so thankful!

I can't believe next year we will celebrate the big 5 year anniversary! Wow how time flies! I wonder how different life will be then. I hope not too different; I am really enjoying life as it is!! :)

What a wonderful four years it has been!

Four years ago today, I got married to the most wonderful man.

Since then, both of us have graduated college and attended grad school;

spent many hours singing together,

gone to Haiti and Israel on mission trips.

We have been to many fun Razorback games,

celebrated lots of holidays together

gotten pregnant

and had Miss Annabelle Joy.

We have celebrated our first Christmas as a three person family,

gone to the beach,

moved to Ohio, bought our first house

spent our first holiday here,

had another sweet little girl, Adelyn Jane

and celebrated our first holiday as a four person family!

Wow! What an exciting four years it has been! I cannot wait for many many more with you Adam. I feel like I say this all the time but I cannot say it enough; you are such a wonderful and amazing husband and daddy. I am so incredibly thankful for you. I love you. Happy Anniversary!!

Birthday Parties

I received a birthday party invitation from a friend today and decided it was time for me to begin thinking about Annabelle's 2nd birthday. I think I have been putting it off because I don't want my baby to turn two yet; I'm just not ready. I do, however, LOVE this stage she is in. She is trying to talk and is really interacting with Adelyn. She just makes the days so fun.

Anyway, I decided to get on a few sites tonight and look for invites for both Annabelle and Adelyn's parties. I have a while for Adelyn's party but since it is her first birthday party it will be a huge deal (to me at least) so why not plan early!

I found all of these on www.shutterfly.com and www.tinyprints.com.

Ok, this is the story on these two. For Annabelle's first birthday party, I did a princess party. It was funny because I would have never ever imagined myself doing a princess party, not because I am not girly because if you know me you know I am the girliest or girly but because it is so typical and I try to steer clear of typical things usually BUT Annabelle is such a little princess. She is extremely girly and nothing else would have suited her for her first birthday but a princess party and so it had to be done. :) This year, I was trying to come up with a theme for her party and first off I think of the thing she loves the very most in her world and that is, of course, Dora. I am just not sure if we can do the whole Dora party thing. But, I don't want it to be something that just I like, I want it to be something she LOVES especially since she is going to know what is going on this year. So there is the dilemma. (Do I have too much time on my hands or what?) Here are the cutest Dora invites I could find.

And of course I had to include some photos from Annabelle's first birthday party. We had so much fun! I can't believe my baby is growing up so fast.

Can't wait for all the birthdays coming up! Birthdays are seriously my favorite!
