Week in Review!

We have had a busy busy and eventful week! Monday, we went to play on our favorite play ground. I just thought their outfits were cute. They looked like little golfers.
I think it was on Monday that I finished this book. It was amazing and I would definitely recommend it!It has taught me sooo much; I'll have to devote a post to it some time. Also, on Monday, usually Adam plays ultimate frisbee and I watch the girls but he was determined to let me play and so at half time he took the girls home (bc they will whine for me if they see me) and let me play. I absolutely LOVED it! I had a blast and I was so thankful for the time I got to spend with some of the youth girls!

On Tuesday, Adelyn and I were here by ourselves because Annabelle went to run some errands with daddy and I asked Ad if she wanted to go pee pee in the potty and she said, "yes!" I took her over to it and she went. It was so cute and about 15 minutes later, she did it again! It was so awesome! I was so proud of her! Also, on Tuesday, I had my first run with my new running buddy. We ran 2 miles and walked two. It was great! I look forward to running more now that I have a running partner!
Wednesday morning, we went to the library to toddler time. There were sooo many people there but the girls really did a good job! They have this puzzle where every toddler gets a letter and when they call your letter you have to go up to Mrs. Linda and put your letter back in the puzzle. Ad had "r" and Ab had "s" and when it was both of their turns, they just pranced right up there an put their letter back! I was so proud!

Wednesday night at youth group, it was dress like a super hero night and so Ashley and Valerie came over before hand so I could figure out something for them to wear. Well, the only thing I could think of was girly princess super heros. ha! Annabelle of course had to dress up as well.
Wednesday night when I was almost home from church I got a phone call from my friend Maly. Oliver had bit through his lip and was crying really hard. I went to her house and got her daughter Ryley and brought her to our house. Poor Oliver had to get 6 stitches total. They had to drive all the way to Children's to put him to sleep for it. They didn't get home until 5 am! Crazy! Oliver is going to have an awesome "battle wound" to show off when he is older!
Also, while we were keeping Ryley, I went to put some of the picture of Adelyn pee peeing in the potty on the blog and I saw this! I was in shock at first. I could not imagine all of the blog being gone. It's a long story, but my e-mail had been hacked and they had deleted my blog too. Luckily, I have an awesome cousin who lives in New York and does computer codes and stuff (: and he fixed it all for me and even got my e-mail back for me! It was sooo amazing and I was soo incredibly thankful for him and his hard work and that I blog.
Thursday, I had to take Annabelle to the doctor to get her ears checked and it was hilarious because she insisted on wearing her pjs with her princess dress on over them and she did not want me to touch her hair. I just decided to not fight the battle that day and go with it. I love this picture. It is hilarious and I hope I remember this stage forever. She is so precious and opinionated, just like her mama!
We spent some time with the Moseley's  on Thursday which was nice because I got to talk with my friend Maly. I enjoy her friendship muchly. On Thursday night, I went to talk with someone about nutrition and Adam ended up hanging out with the Moseley's some more. Maly gave the girls a popsicle and Adelyn looked so adorable with hers! She is just getting too big!!
Friday, we went to the zoo. I did a whole post about it on my phone and it won't post it so I'll have to save that for later. We did get to touch a real live snake though! All of us did it! Friday night Adam and I went on a much needed date! We went to Panara. I know the picture is sideways but this is just like the perfect meal to me. I wish I could eat there all the time but it is just so expensive. They got a new poppy seed salad though that is pretty good and I had to try it!
All week, Justin and Adam (mostly Justin) have been working on our patio! More on that later too...

It is so fun to watch them play together. Annabelle really does a good job a lot of the time and a lot of the time she tries to beat the baby up so I have to stay on her a lot about it but for the most part they love each other. I cannot even believe the difference having tubes has made for Adelyn. She is SO.MUCH.HAPPIER and I am so thankful! I can tell she feels a lot better with them!

Today was "yard day." My neighbor LaDonna and I went to the greenhouse and got some flowers and bushes for our pitiful yard. I will most definitely do a post on that later but here is a preview. Also, my friend Emily came over tonight and kept me company while Adam put in all of the top soil! We had a great time; we always do!

I posted on 6:33 Women this week in an article entitled "Why to Stay Healthy." You can find it HERE.

Also, the Lord has been so good to me this week. I don't exactly know how to put it all down in words but He is teaching me that the.only.thing.that.will.fulfill.me.is.HIM! I wish I could learn that lesson once and be done with it but I guess that is just not how life goes. When everything goes ok, my dependence on Him starts to slip and He always reminds me again of how desperately I need Him!!!

There are lots of verses etc that have spoken to me this week and I just cannot leave this post without writing some of them down!

"Remeber those days...those were hard times...kicked around in public, targets of abuse-some days it was you and other days it was your friends...if some enemies broke in and seized your goods, you let them go with a smile, knowing that they couldn't touch your real treasure. Nothing they did bothered you or set you back. So don't throw it all away now. Your faith is a sure thing. You have to stick it out with God. Stay with it and survive, trusting all the way. Hebrews 10:32-39 (Message)

"My righteous one will live by faith and if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with Him." Hebrews 10:38

"When my endurance fails, Lord, would you help me keep focusing on the great reward of Your favor and eternal promises? I don't want to slow down or lose sight. I want to keep going. Please help me Lord." ~Beth Moore

Therefore as God's chosen people, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Col 3:12

Compassion=the ability to see and feel other people's pain-a tenderness of heart that hurts when someone else is hurting and is compelled to relieve suffering-more than a feeling-produces action

Kindness=sincerely wishing other's well and desiring them to do good

Humility= a holy unawareness of oneself

Gentleness= strength under control, the choice not to use one's power against another

Patience= long suffering in the face of insult or injury-more than just enduring difficulty or passive resignation to circumstances but living ongoing faith

These all require an others centered point of view. Considering other's feelings and need above one's own.

"The theme of Job is that Satan can take away a lot of things but the thing he cannot take away is the eternal promise of our salvation!!!" McArthur
This one is my favorite!! In the end Jesus wins, over Satan, his demons, over our spiritual warfare!
And since we are with Him, we win too!!!!!

Well, now I know why I keep up with this more regularly!! Whew!

Night!!!

That is really helpful. It provided me a number of ideas and I'll be placing them on my home eventually. I'm bookmarking your blog and I'll be back. Thanks again!
