Glittering Pumpkins

I decided that this year it would be fun to do something with pumpkins. Then, the thought occurred to me that we have girls that LOVE glitter and would love to use them with pumpkins, thus the idea of glittering pumpkins was birthed.

 If you know Adelyn, you know it would be not so smart to get a knife anywhere around her so this works as a great substitute for carving for our family.

 The girls loved every second of it and they especially loved that I wasnt all over them about getting the glitter everywhere. I really let them do what they wanted.

 Annabelle was very persistent in helping Adam with his pumpkin (since he was so excited about the glitter anyway! ha!)

 He said if someone was to tell him that he would be glittering pumpkins three years ago, he would never believe them!

 Just like last year, we got a daddy, a mommy, an Annabelle, and an Adelyn pumpkin. I just think it is fun that way!

 They did such a great job and had so much fun, exactly why we did it!

The first pictures display all the pumpkins. I'll try to get some better pictures to post of how they all look! I love family time. I am so blessed!

Sweet Fall Pictures

Today I decided to take the girls outside to take some pictures by the pumpkins on our porch. I cannot believe they are getting so big!


I love these two little sweeties so much and I'm so glad I could capture this memory.


Of course, we gave Annabelle candy so she would behave, call it whatever you want but you do what you gotta do to get a picture! :)


And sweet little crazy active Adelyn sat still for the camera! I was so proud of her!!


Annabelle looks so little in this picture. This is her last October. I had no idea how alike her and Adelyn look until I put these pictures up side by side. I remember thinking she looked like such a big girl in this picture last year and now she really is all grown up.


Annabelle loves sunglasses. She watched almost a whole Dora with Dan's sunglasses on :)

The other day it was cool but nice enough for us to enjoy a few minutes at the park and so we did. The girls love to swing, especially Adelyn. She just holds on to the front and swings the whole entire time we are there!


Annabelle picks everyone's swing for them and she always insists that Adelyn use that swing. I think it is funny and obviously Adelyn doesn't care so I let them swing in the opposite ones they are supposed to..haha!


I was telling Annabelle to say cheese here.


And then, Annabelle wanted out of her swing so she could push the baby. It was the sweetest. I grabbed my iPhone as fast as I could and snapped these pictures. I love it when they love on each other!!


I guess I am excited about fall. I know weird for me to say that because I am such a summer person. It just seems like here fall goes so fast and then it is winter (booooo) but at least we have Christmas to look forward to right now!!!

Happy Fall Ya'll Questions

1. Do you like Starbucks? Are you a fan of their seasonal coffees?
I LOVE coffee and I LOVE Starbucks but the pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks just doesn't do it for me. Hot chocolate on the other hand does. :)

2. How do you decorate and prepare for fall?
Right now I just have pumpkins outside my house. I have two bigger one (mommy and daddy) and two smaller ones (A and A.) I also have small pumpkins in my centerpiece on my table. I would love a wreath but I haven't found one that I just LOVE yet!

3. Will you participate in your college's homecoming activities?
I wish! My school is about 13 hours away so I will not be making the trip :( but I will be thinking about Tiger Tunes and all my fun memories at OBU.

4. What is your favorite fall clothing item and or accessory?
I am loving wearing tights right now! They are the comfiest thing I own!! I also love my uggs!!!

5. What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid?
I was Barbie one time. I loved it! :) This year Annabelle and Adelyn are going to be Dora and Boots and I am so beyond excited about it!!

6. Do you like Halloween/horror movies? Do you have a favorite?
No, no and more no! I could say lots on this but I won't right now. I have bad nightmares!!

7. What is your favorite fall activity?
I guess just football season in general. I know most people would never peg me as a football person but I LOVE football! My dad, my brother, and I used to watch games together growing up and my dad always took me and my brother, James, to one home LSU game each season in Baton Rouge!

8. What is your favorite fall recipe?
I just enjoy soup in general. I think my favorite is chicken tortilla soup. That reminds me of Panara; give me any soup from Panara and I can eat it! :)

9. What TV show are you most excited about this fall?
Biggest Loser although I promised myself this year that if they keep it up with their dirty mouths I am not going to watch it anymore! I love winter shows though; it makes the winter seem to go by faster!

10. When do you start Christmas shopping?
Ummm, last year I had a baby December 20th so I had it all done way early but I'm not sure this year. Hopefully not too late. We don't have super big Christmases here though. We try to focus on Christ and family. (I know that sounds soooo whatever but it's true.) It will be fun this year now that Annabelle is a little older and we are not traveling anywhere!

11. What do you miss most about summer?
The sun!! The sun does not shine here like ever in the winter! We all have to take Vit D supplements! ha!

12. What movie coming out soon are you most excited about??
I'm not a movie person but I have been wanting to finish reading the second Twilight so that I can see Eclipse with my friend Emily! I have also been wanting to rent the latest Miley Cyrus movie, the Nicholas Sparks one?! Who knows if I will ever do it though!
