O Holy Night

Our little suzie elf on day two was trying to decorate the tree.
 She loves it!
And today was on the bathroom tree.

So thankful for this fun season. Adam played "O Holy Night" yesterday, and I just LOVE that song. I wanted to post the lyrics. I feel like this is what they are singing in heaven.....

Oh holy night, the stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till He appeared and the soul felt it's worth

A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
Oh, hear the angel voices

Oh, night divine
Oh, night when Christ was born
Oh, night divine
Oh night, oh night divine

Truly He taught us to love one another
His law is love and His gospel is peace
Chains, shall He break for the slave is our brother
And in His name all oppression shall cease

Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we
Let all within us praise His holy name
Christ is the Lord
Their name, forever praise we

Noel, Noel
Oh night, oh, night divine
Noel, Noel
Oh night, oh, night divine
Noel, Noel
Oh, oh, holy night

thank you so much for typing out the words to O Holy Night for us! It is the gospel in lyric form, and the soaring melody was in my heart as I read your words. I love your blog, your love for Jesus is so clear, and a real encouragement to many!
