Momski's Spring Visit

I wanted to finish up my posts about my mom's visit. We had such a blast! I regret that I did not take more pictures of her but honestly, we didn't get out of our pajamas all that much which was nice!! We had some yummy cupcakes for Adelyn's 15 month birthday (post to come!!)

Also, it snowed! My mom couldn't believe it but I assured her that it was normal around here.

We ate lots of oatmeal

And played a lot in our pjs. :)

We also snuggled a lot.

And last but defiantly not least, we went to Bob Evans to eat Cinnamon Pancakes! Yum!

I always enjoy my mom's visits. I realize that it is not easy to just walk into my life when you are not used to it but she did a wonderful job and let me run all around and go on a date with Adam, slept with Adelyn one night and even cleaned my house!! So sweet!! I also realized how much I do love staying at home with the girls full time. Whenever I would leave, to run errands or just take a break or sew ect and then come back, my mom would tell me all the things that Annabelle said and Adelyn did that I missed. It just made me appreciate being the one that gets to not only experience all of those little things on a daily basis but also the one who gets to tell other people that stuff on a regular basis. What a great new perspective!!

A daughter is a mother's gender partner, her closest ally in the family confederacy, an extension of her self. And mothers are their daughters' role model, their biological and emotional road map, the arbiter of all their relationships. ~Victoria Secunda

The best conversations with mothers always take place in silence, when only the heart speaks. ~Carrie Latet

No painter's brush, nor poet's pen
In justice to her fame
Has ever reached half high enough
To write my mother's name.
