Adelyn's First Date
We babysat the Moseley kiddos last night and we got Adelyn and Oliver to sit on the Dora couch and watch TV together. It was sooooo cute!!
We always joke that she is WAY too wild for him but Maly always says that opposites attract and I guess if that's true they would be the perfect match; we can tell already. :)
Haha. How funny and cute! Love these two little babies!! I'm so glad me and Maly had babies so close together!
No more dates for Adelyn for a long while, we hope!

Our Football Player and Our Mommy
My sweet friend Audrey gave the girls these dresses! Aren't they adorable?!? The girls LOVE them. I sent this picture to Adam this week at work. I just thought it was hilarious that Adelyn was in a football stance because she is such a tom boy!
Annabelle has been trying to boss her sister around lately and Adelyn is not too happy about it! ha!
Annabelle has been talking non stop lately. It has not even close to annoyed me yet! I love every miute of it; she says the funniest things! She has this little treasure chest and she calls it a "tresor, tresor, tresshor, shess." It's hilarious! We have no idea why she likes to say things so many times!
We sold Adam's car this week and so we are down to one car and so it was an interesting week. I spent most of the week playing with the girls and doing crafts. I made these new little hair things. I am really pleased with how they turned out!!
Also, Annabelle spent part of her week carrying Dora around in the front and feeding her bottles. Isn't it funny how little girls have a mommy instinct.
Also, I am having a baby shower at my house tomorrow and so I made these diaper cakes. They are not the best ones I've ever made but I thought they were cute especially since there were three of them!
That's all for this random post! Tonight we baby sat some of my favorite little kiddos and Adelyn had a date! haha! Can't wait to post about it tomorrow!

Happy 14 Month Birthday Adelyn!!
My sweet, crazy Adelyn is now 14 months old! I cannot believe she is getting so big so fast. I know this post is going to sound repetitive but I want to be sure to capture every little thing I can from this age because it is so precious.
Adelyn, you are such an active little girl. You run around all day long unless you are in the mood to cuddle and then you come and scream at me until I pick you up and just hold you and if daddy is home he is most definitely your cuddler of choice.
This picture of you and your sister is a great picture of what I see all day long. Ya'll have soooo much fun together; yes, ya'll fight and cry but you love to play together and one day you are going to be so thankful that your big sister is so kind to you.
You adore playing in this red chair. It is one of your favorite things to do. You also still love Umizoomi and basically anything Annabelle is or has played with. You have turned into a very picky eater which even more solidifies how much you are just like your daddy. Most days I have no idea what to feed you.
You and your sister are so different and that makes life so much fun for me. Whenever I discipline you, you immediately cry, even if I just use a stern voice. I wonder if you are going to be tender hearted one day. When I lay you down for nap or to go to bed at night you just watch me leave the room. You play for a while and then go to sleep but you absolutely not do this if you think Annabelle is playing downstairs and that you are going to miss out!
You sleep pretty good at night for the most part and like I have said over and over again, we are so thankful that all your reflux etc issues have settled down and bit and allowed us all to get some rest!! We have to let you cry sometimes because you LOVE to sleep in bed with us and snuggle but we know that is not best for us and so we let you cry and you always go back to sleep. I just think it is sweet that you are thinking of us in the middle of the night! haha. (:
You wear 12-18 month clothes, mostly 18 month because your belly is too big for 12 month clothes. You and your sister look a lot alike but also look very different in how you fit into your clothes. I love how people can tell you are sister but they see your differences.
One thing people always notice about you is how much you love food. You are always eating. The funny thing is you are not even very chunky for someone who eats so much. I always tell people that you are so hungry because you are so active and if you really are just like your daddy, you probably got his metabolism too!
I love the age and stage you are in now. You say, "mama," "dadda," "no," "yes." Last night when you and Annabelle were in the bath tub (and Annabelle wasn't in the best mood) you grabbed something of hes and she said, "MISE" (which in Annabelle's world means "that's mine.") You turned around and started saying it too! It was soooooo funny!
I love you sweet girl! You are so sweet and precious. Please stop growing up so fast!!

He won't relent/ Great is His Faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22-33
22 Because of the LORD’s great mercies (God's gracious love, grace, mercy, goodness, forgiveness, truth, compassion, and faithfulness.) we are not consumed,
for his compassion never fails.
23 They are new every morning;
great and abundant is your stability and faithfulness. (God always keeps His promises.)
24 I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion;
therefore I will hope and wait for him.”
25 The LORD is good to those whose who wait and their hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation (the safety and ease) of the LORD.
27 It is good for a man to bear the yoke (the disciplinary training)
while he is young.
28 Let him sit alone , uncomplaining, and keep silence,
for the LORD has laid it on him (for his benefit.)
29 Let him bury his face in the dust— (in submission, realizing how unworthy he is)
there may yet be hope.
30 Let him offer his cheek to one who would strike him,
and let him be filled with disgrace.(Let him be filled with men's reproach in meekness, compliant, gentle, kind and humbly patient.)
31 For no one is cast off
by the Lord forever.
32 Though he brings grief, he will show compassion,
so great is his unfailing love.
33 For he does not willingly bring affliction
or grief to anyone.
Another awesome verse I found on a blog this morning.
"The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still."~Exodus 14:14
LOVE THIS!
On another note, I cannot get this song out of my head. SUCH wonderful lyrics:
Until You have it all
My heart is Yours
I'll set You as a seal upon my heart
As a seal upon my arm
For there is love that is as strong as death
Jealousy demanding as the grave
And many waters cannot quench this love
Come be the fire inside of me
Come be the flame upon my heart
Come be the fire inside of me
Until You and I are one

God's Sovereignty
A few funny things have been going on lately. Adelyn needed some new shoes bad and Annabelle never wore a size 4 in the winter soooo we went to Target to look for Adelyn some new shoes. We got these brown ones. I like them ok, they are not my favorite but I thought they looked like she could run in them! Since that is all she does, ha!!
Of course we could not leave without getting Annabelle some new shoes too. I tried to let her kind of guide my decision. (As in, pick them out with my approval.) She picked these shoes out and it's good. We got them a size bigger so that she will be able to wear them for a while and they are also good "playing shoes." I know this story sounds a little boring but the funny part about it was that Annabelle insisted on putting on her new shoes even before checking out at Target and so she wore them home and then did not want to take them off for nap and so her daddy let her wear them for nap time. Then, that night she didn't want to take them off to sleep for the night either soooo she has had the same shoes on even while sleeping for like 3 days now. (She did take them off in the bath tub, PTL! ha) The story is just so Annabelle's personality so I had to post it!
Also, this weekend we went to the mall in Polaris to get out of the house and to play at the play place there. I ran in a department store to look at all the darling spring dresses for little girls they had out and Annabelle went with me. She begged to try on all of them. She is so much like me! haha! So, when we got back with Daddy and Adelyn I said to Annabelle, "Annabelle are you going to like to wear dresses a lot like mommy when you grow up?" and she said, "yes momma." Then, I turned to Adelyn and said, "Adelyn, are you going to wear lots of dresses too?" and she blatantly and clearly said, "NO!" It was the first time she has ever actually said the word. It was so hilarious because we always say she is our "tom boy."
I love it how God made them so different. I know it probably sounds weird but I prayed for them to be very different so they wouldn't compete as much! God answered that prayer for sure!
On another note, I was studying the scriptures that our Pastor Jeremy quoted in the service yesterday. I went over these passages. Job 42:1-6, "
Job answered God: "I'm convinced: You can do anything and everything.
Nothing and no one can upset your plans.
You asked, 'Who is this muddying the water,
ignorantly confusing the issue, second-guessing my purposes?'
I admit it. I was the one. I babbled on about things far beyond me,
made small talk about wonders way over my head.
You told me, 'Listen, and let me do the talking.
Let me ask the questions. You give the answers.'
I admit I once lived by rumors of you;
now I have it all firsthand—from my own eyes and ears!
I'm sorry—forgive me. I'll never do that again, I promise!
I'll never again live on crusts of hearsay, crumbs of rumor."
This is the very last chapter of Job. None of Job's circumstances have changed; he is still diseased, without a family or possessions but yet he realizes he has wronged God by questioning Him and vows not to do it again. SATAN THEN LOSES THE BATTLE!!!!!!!! of trying to get Job to abandon God.
McArthur says, "Job's confession and repentance took place here (in these verses). Job did not know "why" but he was finished complaining, questioning, and challenging God's wisdom and justice. He was reduced to such utter humility, crushed beneath the weight of God's greatness, that all he could do was repent for his presumptuous and insulting manner of speech that was ultimately against God. Without answers to all his questions, Job humbly bowed in humble submission before His Creator and admitted God's sovereignty."
Wow. May I rest in God's sovereignty today.

Annabelle's Valentine/ Playing Outside!!!!!
Annabelle made a Valentine in church last Sunday and I just found it on Thursday as I was looking through some things. The directions for the Valentine said that Annabelle was supposed to give it to someone.
I asked her who she was going to give it to and she instantly said, "Daddy" and ran over and gave it to him. It was one of the sweetest things she has ever done. I almost cried!
This was the only picture I got from our Valentine's date but I had to post it! We had a great time going out to eat. It was absolutely wonderful quality time!!
Yesterday we got to go outside and play for the first time!! I am kinda sad that we never got to go out and play in the snow this year. I kept saying we were going to do it and we just never did. Annabelle has never been a huge fan of the snow BUT since it melted and was in the 50's we decided to go and enjoy the day!!!
The girls had so much fun going down the slide!! Adelyn even figured out how to do it all by herself; it was sooooo funny. Adam has a video on his phone so I will try to post it soon!
Annabelle had a great time too and cried and cried when we had to come inside. We even ate a snack at our little table that mom brought me from Arkansas!!
