Happy 9 Month Birthday Adelyn!

Adelyn turned nine months on the 20th of September. Adelyn you are such a sweet baby although lately we have seen a different side of you. :) You put your fists up and squeal when you don't get your way and if ever you can get a death grip on Annabelle's toys you do without hesitation. Right now, you are actually stronger (or at least have a stronger grip) than your sister and although it is funny it is also a challenge!


You weigh around 20 lbs and you are wearing size 6-12 month clothes. YOU SLEEP ALL NIGHT LONG FOR 12 HOURS which we feel like is a miracle! At 8 months you had a turnaround and all your reflux, intolerances, and allergys just disappeared. We like to say it was a miracle and that God heard our prayers and healed your sweet little body!


You still have the sweetest most captivating eyes and smile. We hear you look like your sister a lot but we see major differences. You take one nap in the afternoon with your sister at 1:00 and you sleep 1-3 hours. I don't let you sleep any longer so you will sleep at night for me! You take a bottle at 8, 11, 1, 4, and 7 or 8. You eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack or two!


Adelyn you are a big time observer. You look people in the eyes and you study people like crazy but always smile at them! Your biggest hero is still your daddy and then your sister. Your face lights up when your sister comes to play with you; it is the sweetest. I pray all the time that you will be good friends. You are also a big time momma's girl too; you love for me to carry you around on my hip and just watch as I try to do things with one hand.


You love the dance class Annabelle is in because you love to watch everything the girls do! You even came home clapping the other day! Now, when we say clap, you can clap and we love it; you are so smart!


The biggest thing that has happened since last month is that you have started crawling. You are so speedy; one day you decided to crawl and then the next day you took off!


You also try to pull up on everything and try to take steps but you always fall. You have grown taller but your cheeks are still chubby and we LOVE that about you.

I pray all the time that I can be the mommy that you need me to be. I love watching you try and do new things. I am so thankful that you sleep now; it has changed my life but even if you didn't I would love you all the same. I just feel like I have really enjoyed this past month with you because I was better rested!

Adelyn, I love you sweetheart and I just love it that you are my sweet smelling, beautiful, smily baby. God couldn't have given me a better gift!
