This week with the Fishers

Annabelle decided for the first time that she wanted to have a tea party with Adelyn. Mommy just thought it was soooo sweet! Adelyn loved the attention from her big sister of course.

We got lots of pictures of our new cousin sweet Braley Grace Fisher! We can't wait to meet her!!

Annabelle worked out really hard this week with Billy Blanks and she even used her "Billy Bands" some too!

We swam A LOT sometimes with clothes on and sometimes without clothes on!! Annabelle even swam without a diaper on most days and would tell me before she had to go pee pee. I think that means she is getting ready to potty train (but mommy is not ready yet. Mommy says she will be ready when Adelyn sleeps better....which might be when Annabelle is like 4 or soooo....)

I worked on some projects. I really enjoyed this time to be creative and get some much needed "hobby time'' in.

I decided to be brave and take Adelyn to the doctor and let Annabelle come along too. I tried to keep Annabelle busy with as much as she could while there a whopping hour and a half. Annabelle did pretty good; I was proud of her and how she obeyed.

I ripped a hole in the bottom area of her favorite jeans....does this mean something or what?!?!!!

Annabelle, Adelyn and I went to McDonalds almost everyday this week, not to eat, but to play on their awesome playground! Annabelle just loved every minute of it! This is my new favorite place!!

Adelyn got two new teeth in, the bottom two teeth and they look so cute!!

Adam and I started seriously talking about trying to get another car because the cars they have are way too small to have two kiddos. We can't afford a car payment and so we are waying our options of spending our savings and trading in our cars or ???

I passed out for the first time in my life (and Adam caught me...how romantic?!) because I slammed my finger nail in the door at our friends Dan and Amy's house.

Adelyn really started to try to crawl. (A year ago today Annabelle started to crawl. She was 10 months old.) I am secretly hoping Adleyn cools it with this crawling stuff and gives me a little more time with a baby that just sits and plays with toys. :)

It has been a jam packed week but a wonderful week. It was our first normal week in about four weeks and it is so good to have "normal" life back. Oh I have so much to be thankful for.

7 Months Comparison Shots

Adelyn

Annabelle

Adelyn

Annabelle

The girls at seven months. I really think they are looking so different these days but Adelyn's hair is coming in exactly like Annabelle's did. Seven months is when we found out we were pregnant with Adelyn (hence the "Big Sister" shirt); I cannot imagine finding out I am pregnant right now. :)

While looking through pictures I found some of my favorites of Annabelle and I just couldn't help but post them. The first one is one of my absolute favorite pictures of me and Annabelle.

Annabelle's 22 month's old!

Yesterday Annabelle turned 22 months. I cannot believe she is getting so close to two! The outfit she has on is one of my favorites that I got on clearance at Target. Annabelle really likes to wear my jewelry and she had gotten this necklace this morning and so I just let her wear it around for a while.

Adelyn is always close by your side Annabelle and I think you really enjoy having someone around that is always admiring you. You are beginning to learn to share your toys. Most of the time I say, "You can have a turn for a little bit and then the baby gets a turn and then in a few minutes you can have a turn again" and that seems to work for now.

Mommy LOVES to fix your hair but you do not like it at all and so you have to be watching Dora or Miss Patty Cake for mommy to fix your hair.

Dora is your all time favorite show right now but you also like Miss Patty Cake and you have a new obsession with Elmo.

You still carry your Bear almost everywhere but you sleep with bear, cookie monster, and elmo. You must have all three to go to sleep. When you are ready to go to sleep for nap or at night you say, "night, night" and we know you are tired. You still take your bath at 7:30 every night and are in bed by 8:00.

We have started taking you to McDonals and the parks to play on the playground because you really enjoy sliding these days and have just started sliding down the big slides! You are such a big girl!

You are such a girly girl. You enjoy all kinds of jewlry, makeup, clothes, and shoes. You are still in 12-18 months clothes and weigh exactly 25 pounds. Your favorites are brocolli, bananas, starwberries, blueberries, peanut butter, eggs, cheese, all kinds of bread and crackers. You ask for candy probably 100 times a day. You sleep 12 hours every night and take an hour to a three hour nap every day (and mommy is so thankful!)

You talk all the time. Yesterday we took Adleyn to the doctor and you said doctor at least 75 times while we were there. You try to say anythingwe ask you to say and you are now putting two words together. You know most of the letter of the alphabet, as in, if I point at them you can say what they are and you know your colors and some shapes (although circles are your all time favorites!) We love it that you can talk to us now and we can understand each other better; it makes life a lot easier for mommy and daddy.

I can't beleive you are going to be two so soon! I'm not ready for that but I am very excited about planning your birthday party! Annabelle mommy loves you so much and is so glad that she gets to spend every day with you! Happy 22 month birthday!

New Favorite Toys & The Fair!

My dad and Anita sent a whole set of musical instruments for the girls to play with. They LOVE them especially the piano. It is a good thing to help teach Annabelle about sharing since Adelyn really can play with it and loves it.

love that sweet face

Tonight after Adam got off work we went to the fair with our friends the Mosley's and the Borgerding's. We had a lot of fun.

Annabelle was scared of most of the animals up close, surprise surprise, but she loved them from a distance and if any of them were laying down she pointed to them and said, "night, night...night, night." It was funny.

Adelyn loved to stroll; Annabelle on the other hand wanted out almost immediately.

Annabelle LOVES Ryley; she was saying her name all day and I kept telling her that we were going to see her tonight at the fair. Of course Annabelle didn't remember what a fair was but she was beyond excited to see and play with Ryley tonight.

Merm and Oliver

Tabitha and the little baby. They are our new friends and I don't remember this little guys name. She is a mother of four, four in five years to be exact! Isn't she the cutest!!

Adelyn and Daddy

Annabelle loved this marry go round. She rode it twice, once with daddy and once with me

and Daddy and Annabelle went down a giant slide

and Ryley and Annabelle rode this car ride. We were all joking saying they really are going to be driving away in a car one day. Weird thought!! I don't know if I really want that to happen! After every one of these rides Annabelle cried and cried because we would not let her go on it again and again; I would have loved to but the tickets cost money and so we just did as many as $5.00 would let us and them we had to go home and get the kiddos in bed.

This is the best family picture we could get. I really love these people! :)

and this is last year's picture at the fair with Annabelle and Adelyn in my tummy. My, how things have changed since then.

Adam and Annabelle on the carousel last year

and Annabelle looking at the bunnies last year.

Aww soo fun! Annabelle just loved it so much more this year! I can't wait to go again next year.
