It's Thankful Tuesday! I keep meaning to blog about things going on with us but I am having a hard time getting it accomplished. It is the season of "being with people" for me and it is such a blessing. I am thankful to God for providing this time of rest and time with family. No matter where we go from here, I want to always look back on this "time of rest" with gratitude toward God because He knew we desperately needed it.
Today I am thankful to God for a place to live and parents who have graciously provided it :), a mom who comes to visit us, trips to the Children's Museum, daddy-daughter dates, dive in movie nights, fun painting nights with friends, and my husband.
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
3 He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
Every good and perfect gift comes from above. James 1:17
Let the peace of God RULE in your hearts and be thankful. Col 3:15
