Annabelle's Preschool Thanksgiving Feast

Annabelle & Adelyn's First Day of Preschool 2013

 Today was the girl's first day of preschool, the first day Adelyn had ever been to school! She was very excited! I didn't do so good dropping her off.

 She gave me the puppy dog eyes and I just couldn't handle it. I cried and cried. I am a little hormonal too obviously. :) I just cannot believe she has gotten so big. When, I think about how hard of a baby was and what a joy she is now; it is just so sweet. It was so so hard but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

When I went to pick her up her teachers said she did so great; that she listened and even took a nap! I was so very proud of her!

 Annabelle was super excited about school. Since she has been to almost two years of preschool she was pumped to be able to go again and since I had dropped her off before, it wasn't quite as hard for me with her.

 She is by nature as the first born just so much more independent and so the whole school thing is fun for her!

 Annabelle's teachers said she did great today as well! They even said she rested well! I am so glad she gets to go back tomorrow, that we put her in three days a week.

After school we had to get some celebratory ice cream, birthday cake kind by Annabelle's request of course! I cannot believe we have a new baby coming so soon but I am so very excited to start all of these fun and precious milestones all over again. Children really are a blessing! Today, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for these baby's.... or now big girls. :)

Annabelle Meets Her Teacher!

Today, Annabelle had the chance to meet her teachers. I am so excited about this preschool program; I have been nothing but impressed by it so far! Annabelle will be repeating 4 year old preschool because her birthday isn't until the end of September and in Tennessee the cut off date for kindergarten is August 1st. I don't mind keeping her with me one more year and I know she's going to have tons of exciting times making new friends and going to music and computer class! I am thankful for this opportunity for my kiddos! We are all excited for next Tuesday!

Annabelle was in such a funny mood this morning and decided to give me all kinds of poses and her mermaid! Love this hilarious little girl!!

You Are Working In the Waiting...

 Today, I searched for blessings in my life. I am thoroughly aware what finding things to be thankful to God about does for your life. That being said, God brought to light many blessings...
1) Two little girlies who were dressed as princesses again :) who wanted to make cookies...

 2) My sweet little Annabelle whose favorite bibles story is in Daniel 3 about God being in the fire with Shadrach, Meshack, and Abednego. She sticks that book mark in at the page so she won't lose the spot. :) Love how often she reminds me of this story!

3) We curled Annabelle's hair for the first time ever and it looked beautiful.

 4) My baby was absolutely hilarious!

 5) Annabelle performed her Christmas Musical for her school. She was so funny. She really only did the motions for the finger play and some of the verses. She didn't sing one song. And she has practiced the songs like crazy at home. :) She told me when she sat down that she didn't want to sing. (of course!)

 6) I got to keep Adam at home from youth to go to the performance!

7) Everyone got cookies!!

 8) A friend brought me a meal

9) And another friend brought me flowers. :)

 10) And LOTS of friends sent me scripture and the Lord sustained me by His promises...

11) And this song and Matt Redman's whole 10,00 reasons cd is SUCH A BLESSING...filled with scripture and so good for the soul.
