Grateful & Feet :)

One of my goals for this year was to jot down five things I’m grateful to God for each day. While I haven’t quite mastered the every day part, I’m trying—and for now, I think that’s good enough.

Today’s list? I’m grateful for feeling better, for the fun of no-stress chess, for getting to see Hadestown tonight, for my mom being in town to help this week, and for Adam finally getting a new vehicle (after being without one since October!).

This little habit has been such a balm for my heart so far this year. Do you practice gratitude too? If so, I’d love to hear your tips—or even a few things you’re grateful for today.

On a completely different (and hilariously random) note, we realized last night that Abe’s foot is exactly the same size as mine right now. He tried on my uggs to be funny and said, “Mom! They fit! 🤣” He’s rocking a boys’ size 6, and I’m a women’s 7 1/2 or 8. We laughed so hard about it—it’s the little things, isn’t it?
