Chosen

I'm thankful for the truths from this verse:

1) God has chosen me.

God loves me and has a purpose for my life, "good works He had in mind for me to do before time began." Eph 2:10

2) I am part of a royal priesthood.

I have direct access to the God of the universe. I not only have this access, He wants to have a relationship with me. He loves for me to talk with Him about any and everything; He carries my burdens; He laughs and cries with me.

3) His desire is for me to be holy.

 He wants me to be set apart from the world, listening to His voice intently. He is always working on my heart trying to make me more like Him because He loves me and wants the world to see Him through me.

4) I am His and nothing & no one can ever change that. "For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39

5) He has chosen me, allowed me to have direct access to Him and many other privileges. His desire is for me to be holy, and nothing can ever tear us apart all for the purpose of me "proclaiming His excellence!" 

He wants me to tell the stories of how He has carried me through the darkest times from a courtroom to hospital rooms and so on. He wants me to lead songs of worship to Him so people can be drawn to how beautiful He is for all He has done. 

All for His glory, for His fame so that His name name will be praised. So that more people can experience the delight of knowing Him; the only one who forever fills the void inside the human heart.

"To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" Revelation 5:13
