First Day of Ballet

We had our first day of ballet on Tuesday. Annabelle was so excited she didn't stop talking for hours..hence the picture :) It was so so cute!

They were so excited about all of it, their outfits, practicing, the real ballerina who was their teacher. It was so so fun to watch and I couldn't help but thank God that He gave me girls! They are just so fun sometimes!!

They wouldn't tell me a lot about it but I know they had fun because they keep asking when they get to go back. Today I said, 5 more days! Which reminded me that Annabelle starts school in 7 days! Wow!

I made ballerina muffins to celebrate the first day of ballet and I absolutely knew at least Annabelle would love this idea and she did. She thanked me so many times. It was so sweet!

So thankful for these sweet memories!

Thankful Tuesday in Pics

one day late :)

And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].
Colossians 3:15

We can't wait for ballet...

The girls are starting a ballet class tomorrow and everyone at our house is so excited about it. I let the girls try on their leotards and leggings today. They were a tad bit big but not that bad.

I couldn't help myself. I monogrammed the leotards. I just had to. :)

Cant wait for tomorrow!

My testimony in Psalms

I read these verses from Psalm today in my Biblestudy and realized how much they describe my journey with the Lord.

God's words from the bible continually heal me, show me my sin, comfort me, and rescue me from myself.

I am so thankful for God's word!

Thankful Tuesday

Last week we spent some family time at the Marysville City Pool. The girls had an absolute blast! Again, I am so thankful for our family time together. It has just been so so fun lately.

Since it's Thankful Tuesday, I decided to include 10 verses about being thankful to God:

1 Thessalonians 5:18

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Psalm 107:1

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!

Ephesians 5:20

Giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Colossians 3:15-17

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

2 Corinthians 9:15

Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!

Philippians 4:6

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Psalm 106:1

Praise the Lord! Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!

Psalm 105:1

Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name; make known his deeds among the peoples!

Psalm 118:1-18

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! Let Israel say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Let the house of Aaron say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Let those who fear the Lord say, “His steadfast love endures forever.” Out of my distress I called on the Lord; the Lord answered me and set me free. ...

Thankful Tuesday

Today Im Thankful to God that:

1) He has given me the privilege of being a mommy.
2) He will never ever let me down. He is my rock.
3) He has given me a book of His words that comfort, teach, challenge and change my life every day.
4) I can stay home with my girls and make so many fun memories with them.
5) I can run. Thinking of my brother who is still recovering from his awful spider bite. I am thankful that I can exercise and especially run.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts....and be thankful! Col 3:16

Happy 6 Year Anniversary!

Sunday was Adam and my 6 year anniversary. We had a really great day! That night we went on a little date to get ice cream and play put put. Our "real" celebration is this weekend. :) More on that later....

I am so thankful for Adam and for marriage. I was thinking about the last 6 years, everyone at church was teasing us telling us we were still newly weds and while six years is not a long time to be married, we have been through more than people should ever have to go through in the past six years. Along with some very hard times there have also been GREAT blessings and joys and I am thankful for how the Lord has grown us together in Him through it all.

The thing I love absolute most about our marriage is that we spend every morning together reading His word. When we started this almost 2 years ago I had no idea how it would radically change our lives for the better but I am so thankful that it has and for my faithful morning buddy.

It's hard to even imagine what life will be like a year from now but I cannot wait to see what all God has in store. He is the constant. Our faithful Rock and Refuge and without Him we really can do nothing! John 15

Family Time at the Zoo

We visited the zoo this morning and did some of the really fun things we hardly ever do at the zoo! First we took a boat ride around to see all of the different kind of monkeys. Then, we rode the train and last we rode the carousel!

We also saw the bears, tigers, and the girls favorite was the eagle because we studied "E" this week and the eagle and one of their verse for "E" was "Those who wait on the Lord will gain new strength, they will rise up on wings like eagles..." Isaiah 40:31 :)

I was so glad they remembered what they learned!

I have been really enjoying our family time lately. Tonight when I was putting Annabelle to bed she was telling me a story about two mermaids named Annabelle and Adelyn that like their mommy and daddy and their family.

I'm so so glad that the girls enjoy our time together too!
