Adelyn's Birthday Party Decor

We had Adelyn's birthday party on the 23rd of December at Adam's parent's house. It was so much fun!! Once I uploaded all my pictures from the party to this blog post, I decided to split the blog post into two posts because it was forever long! So, this post will be all about the decor of the party! :)

I absolutely LOVE crafts! I am not the best at them but I just love to do them especially for the girls! I decided after I made Annabelle's last birthday banner that I wanted to make Adelyn one that I could use every year if I wanted to so I made this banner on fabric. I cut out the triangles and backed them with the same fabric and attached them on the string .

I decided I was going to do cupcakes for Adelyn for many reasons. I love the way they turned out! I also wanted to do the big cupcake for her because I knew she would LOVE it because she loves her some sweets!

I made the cupcake toppers and my sister in law and I wrapped pans for the cupcakes to sit on. :)

I made the cupcakes the day before because I didn't want to be stressed since I wasn't at my own home and I wanted to help my MIL if she needed it. Overall, we made 60 cupcakes because that is about how many people we anticipated; about 50 people came! :) Adam and I both agreed that cake would have been a better choice, time and work wise but I still had fun doing all of it!

Adelyn loves the little bear on the table. She loves on it and hugs and kisses it every chance she gets so I thought it was appropriate to be used for decor for the party.

I always like to frame pictures from the past year and display them for guests to see. I love this picture of Adelyn by the tree. She looks like such a big girl!

I also love this picture of Adelyn from her 4 month birthday (post HERE.)

And this is her newborn shot. My little Christmas baby, born December 20th. Her little outfit looked like she was out present and it was adorable!

I just couldn't leave this post without a picture of the birthday girl herself and a picture of her making my favorite face she makes. What a hilarious and special little girl!

Tomorrow I'll post about the important part of her party; the people there! :)

I love the birthday decor! I am the same way, I may not be the most creative with decorations but I definitely have the heart for it, I love making things! Can't wait to hear about the rest of her birthday :)
