Here's the story I'll tell my friends when they come to worship, and punctuate it with Hallelujahs: Shout Hallelujah, you God-worshippers; give glory, you sons of Jacob; adore him, you daughters of Israel. He has never let you down, never looked the other way when you were being kicked around. He has never wandered off to do His own thing; he has been right there listening.

Something I wrote to God today; I call it something because I don't know what to call it.

"Oh God, I know you hear my plea

I shout to you Lord, Rescue me

Your heart must hurt as I hurt for my pain

Yet the excitement and joy I know you must gain

Looking into my future, seeing what you see,

How you will constantly provide for me

Much more than my heart can even believe

You are my shepherd in times of need

You are my rock that carries me

You are my strength when I am weak

So I will praise you with my life

Yes, I will praise you for I know you will provide

You see the big picture, the canvas of my story

In the eyes of a painter who paints for your glory

How you want to make my life the most beautiful work of art

All that is left, is for me to do my part

The rest lies in what I choose to do each day

Do I trust, surrender, and live my life to say
