Beach Vacation 2013

We spent last week at the beach and it was wonderful. Once upon a time my mom's family would take a trip every summer but we haven't all been together for the past three years and so it was so nice to all be together again and together AT THE BEACH! :)

The girls were pumped because they didn't remember the beach but knew it was like a giant sand box and pool and they are both water babies as in they could swim all day long.

It was so fun for me to watch them be so excited about it all the first day.

They loved every second of it all.

I have divided the beach pics up into several posts because I took LOTS of pictures so I will try to post soon. I also got my real camera back (long story) and I am promising myself that I will catch up and post on dance camp and Father's day soon but who knows when it will be because....... we headed to Disney World with my dad and step mom in a few days!

Again, I could not be more thankful to God for providing all of this quality time with our families. I wish I had time to expand on that but I'll just say I see more and more right now that God knows exactly what He is doing. I don't know why I don't trust Him more sometimes.... My verses for today were:

So God has given both his promise and His oath. These two things are interchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to Him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the HOPE that lies before us. This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. Hebrews 6:18-19b

I couldn't help but think of all of the promises He has given me lately through His word and how it says here that He will come through...maybe not necessarily how I am thinking He should in all of it....but always for MY GOOD and HIS GLORY and always in HIS PERFECT TIME. I am thankful that He knows what's best and that my hope in Him is the strong and trustworthy anchor for my soul, the thing that draws me back to truth and how much He loves and cares for me every single time.
