My amazing college friends are all in New York City right now, celebrating Jen’s birthday, and I can’t help but feel a little FOMO! I so wish I could be there with them, but unfortunately, it just wasn’t in the cards this time around. One of the reasons? In 17 days, Adelyn and I are heading to NYC with the theater department at her school! I’m really looking forward to that trip—it’s going to be so special.

But in the meantime, I’m reminiscing about the trip we took to NYC this summer to celebrate my 40th birthday. What an unforgettable experience! Even though I’m missing out on the current celebration, I’m grateful for the memories from that trip, and I’m already counting down the days until we’re back in the city again.
