Thankful Tuesday

Almost 6 years ago I became a mother to the most precious baby girl names Annabelle. She was with me when she was 3 months old and we moved to Ohio. She was my little buddy that first winter. She had no idea what hit her when she was 14 plus months and I came home with another little baby girl and she endured one of the hardest years of my life that year. She grew a strong and independent spirit and blossomed into a smart, creative strong willed little girl.

I am truly so thankful for these almost 6 years that I have gotten to spend at home with her. Looking back now, I honestly cannot put a worth to how much this time has meant to me.

Tomorrow marks a new beginning, her first day of kindergarten. We are both so very excited for her. She is so ready for a new challenge intellectually. As sad as I am that someone else is going to get to spend all of that time with her; I am certain that it is God's will for her to go to school and I'm thankful for that certainty and the peace that comes with it.

Annabelle, I hope one day you read this and know how much I loved staying at home with you when you were little. You are such a joy! I cannot wait to see what all God has in store for you! I love you so much and I will miss you while you are at school!
love,
mommy
