I really loved this prayer on the proverbs 31 ministries website. It really embodies my heart this year. I didn't come up with any resolutions; my goal is just to keep doing what I'm doing and to make it through every day! Ha! :) Seriously though, most of all, may I be characterized by obedience to Christ this year, whatever that means day to day.
May He reign and rule in my heart this year, on a throne higher than any other thing or person. And may I be filled with the utmost gratitude toward Him daily for blessing me far greater than I ever deserved!
