Love

Ephesians has been rocking my world lately. It's all about "faith expressing itself in love."

I'm trying to think about what this really means for me practically.

I believe one way this applies to me is in forgiveness:

Forgive one another as QUICKLY and THROUGHLY as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:32

Forgive:

to do something pleasant or agreeable (to one), to do a favour to, gratify
to show one's self gracious, kind, benevolent**
to grant forgiveness, to pardon
to give graciously, give freely, bestow
graciously to restore one to another

**Benevolent-  marked by or disposed to doing good, organized for the purpose of doing good, marked by or suggestive of goodwill

The neat thing about this word benevolent is that in the original language it is also part of the definition of the word "love" (Agape).
Another way this applies is in showing tolerance in love:
Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, SHOWING TOLERANCE for one another in LOVE, 3 being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Showing tolerance- forbear, suffer, endure

Love -
brotherly love, affection, good will, love, benevolence*
love feasts

Love how much God is using these scriptures to teach me about how He loves and how I should too.
