Thankful Tuesday - Happy 7 Year Anniversary

Today is Thankful Tuesday and Yesterday was our 7 year anniversary so today I am thankful for Adam and our marriage!!

First of all, I'm thankful that we made it 7 years! Haha no but really. Marriage has been the craziest ride. It has not be easy for us. We are completely opposite people and I am pretty selfish but what I'm thankful for is that I have a husband who loves me despite it all, and wants to love me better every day. I have written this on the blog before but I will write it again.... We work at marriage every single day. We are still trying to figure all kinds of things out but I am thankful that we both want to try every day and that God gives us the strength to see our weakness and work for the good of the other person and our family in general.

I think most people who are married would say this but it is only by God's grace that we do this thing called marriage and for that grace I am thankful to Him.

Last night we got to go to dinner and we had so much fun laughing and just being together. We talked about our wedding day and how special it was to both of us. We would have never imagined or planned our life the way everything has happened in the past seven years good and bad but we know God has been in all of it whether picking us up and dusting us off with forgiveness or with carrying us through times we thought would be impossible. And He was also there in all our super special moments like having Annabelle and Adelyn and so so many of our fun zoo trips, ice cream dates, walks with our girls, and times of just loving being a family.

We reminded ourselves last night that we are blessed, so blessed and have MUCH to be thankful for!

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.
James 1:17
