Thankful Tuesday

                                                                 It's Thankful Tuesday!

I have so much to be thankful for....so much it's unreal but the thing I am most thankful for is my relationship with Christ. Today on facebook I posted the definition of peace: the tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ and therefore fearing nothing from God but being content with ones earthly lot, whatever sort it is (studylight.org) This peace can only come through knowing Christ.

Amen to that. I am thankful for peace in Him today and with that I will post my verses about peace I have been looking at (neeeeed to memorize!!):

You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.

    Isaiah 26:3

Great peace have they who love your law, and nothing can make them stumble. Psalm 119:65

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

LORD, you establish peace for us... Isaiah 26:12

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27

My God who I serve is able to deliver us, and he will deliver us. But even if he doesn't, let it be known to you, that we will not serve any other god but our Lord Jesus Christ. Daniel 3:18ish

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Colossians 3:15
