My sweet husband turned 28 today or technically yesterday since it is not 12:06. Adam is such an amazing person. People don't know how godly and respectable he really is because he doesn't talk serious all that much but when he does, you sure do want to listen.
Adam knows the word of God and hungers for God in his life. He is constantly asking me what I need from him. Honestly, I do not give him enough credit.
He serves faithfully at church without ever asking for applause.
Adam has loved me this year so much and has been a picture of how Christ loves His church to me....I am not saying that he....we.... our marriage is perfect but I can't say that I would change a single thing.
I honestly feel so blessed to be able to stand beside him and call him my husband.
Our verse on our wedding day was Isaiah 26:8, "Your name and renown are the desires of our souls." May that always be true of you, Adam, of me as well, of our marriage, and our family.
We were listening to a passion talk tonight and heard this verse and I think it meant something to both of us. May we cling to this as we carry out our work in Marysville Ohio.And this is why I am suffering as I do. Still I am not ashamed, for I know (perceive, have knowledge of, and am acquainted with) Him Whom I have believed (adhered to and trusted in and relied on), and I am [positively] persuaded that He is able to guard and keep that which has been entrusted to me and which I have committed [to Him] until that day. 2 Timothy 1:12
