Thankful Tuesday

I almost forgot about Thankful Tuesday today but while spending time with the Lord this morning, He reminded me of what an act of worship thanking Him is and so I am delighted to give you "my list" this week!

Just a side note: I sent my mom the picture above and she asked me where Ad's shoes were. Well, I totally forgot them! ha! She played and played without them on the playground! so her! Annabelle would have freaked out! Love it!!

I am thankful for:
my salvation
God's word that is alive and speak so clearly to me
my sweet girls that I enjoy
how much Adelyn smiles
that Annabelle has been sleeping again
Crystal coming to visit!
and all her help :)
my sweet husband and the time we are going to get together soon!
his desire to spend time with us as a family
his couponing :)
the sunshine this week!!!!
getting to play outside
the park
that the girls can play at the park pretty well now
God's unending incomprehensible love and mercy He has for me
putting us in Ohio
His plan that is sooo much better than the great plans I have
how much Annabelle has been talking lately and all her "I love you mama"s

I have SOOOOOO much to be thankful for!!

I want to include this prayer today from the book, "The Power of a Praying Parent" by Stormie Omartian. It is so good. I want to make it a habit to read this and speak this from my heart to God concerning my children:

"Lord,
I submit myself to you. I realize that parenting a child in the way You would have me to is beyond my human abilities. I know I need You to help me. I want to partner with You and partake of Your gifts of wisdom, discernment, revelation, and guidance. I also need your strength and patience, along with a generous portion of Your love flowing through me. Teach me how to love the way You love. Where I need to be healed, delivered, changed, matured, or made whole, I invite you to do that in me. Help me to walk in righteousness and integrity before you. Teach me Your ways, enable me to obey Your commandments and to do what is only pleasing to Your sight. May the beauty of Your spirit be so evident in me that I will be a godly role model. Give me the communication, teaching, and nurturing skills that I must have. Make me the parent You want me to be and teach me how to pray and truly intercede for the life of Annabelle and Adelyn. Lord, you said in Your word, "Whatever things I ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. " Matthew 21:22. In Jesus' precious name, I ask that You will increase my faith to believe for all things You've put on my heart to pray for concerning this child. Amen"

The first "Thankful Tuesday" can be found HERE and the second HERE.

I would love for you to link up! It is a blessing to me to read what others are thankful for too and thank you to those who have linked up these past couple weeks!!

1 Chronicles 16:8
Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people!!

Ashley, just been meaning to let you know how encouraged I have been by your blog! Your love for the Word of God and your Christ-centeredness has been so sweet and helpful to glean from. Thanking the Lord for revealing Himself to you daily. Also! I just saw your dad and brother's picture on the very front page of this Sunday's Commercial Appeal!!! Their faces are like the center of the whole picture! It's great :) love u lots. Also I have a little girl two months younger than your youngest and they remind me a lot of each other by the way they look and sometimes what you share about her reminds me of our little Caroline. Just wanted you to know!!
