Date with Daddy

Today Annabelle and I (Adam) went on our very first date! I have been looking forward to this moment for quite a while now and I think Annabelle is finally old enough where her and I can go on a date without communication problems you would get with babies. Today she was wearing her "birthday dress" and was very excited about it.

Our first stop was to get some hot chocolate at Starbucks. Needless to say, Annabelle said the word "hot chocolate" about 85 times while we were there...she was so excited. After Starbucks we picked up some fries and chicken from Burger King and took it to my office to eat. Shortly after eating we went to see one of the students from our church wrestle at Marysville High School. Not exactly what you would have in mind for the ending of a perfect date, but Annabelle and I had fun. It was really good for me to be able to spend some quality time with Annabelle. I really want her to be able to grow up with me always taking her on dates. I know if she's not getting the love she needs from me she will find it in another guy someday. So I pray that I can be the father and dad that she needs.

Adam
