Christmas Day was a little crazy this year. We started out at the Fisher's house. We got ready and Adelyn met Adam's grandpa, Pawpaw, for the first time!
All the sister in laws somehow got in a picture without any kids, well, I guess that is not true because two of them are pregnant! haha!
I know I have said this probably several times on the blog but I love my sister in laws. They are so precious to me. Dottie and I are opposites in so many things but we have similar hearts if that makes sense and so we love to hang out and talk!
Everybody enjoyed themselves a little bit of Adelyn and
Papadaddy spent some time with his girls
and then we headed to my grandparents house to open gifts and celebrate with my dad's side of the family.
We all got together in the living room for Papa to share and read the Christmas story with sweet Mimi by his side
and this is what Annabelle was doing while he was reading the Christmas story...haha.
This is the only shot I got of my brother and so I had to post it! He's so precious and loves the girls to pieces! After the Christmas story, we all went around and shared our testimonys. It was neat to hear how each person came to know Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him. How blessed I am to be in such a family!!
After all of that, we opened presents. Annabelle got a really awesome Dora doll that dances and my sweet step mom Anita sent one for Adelyn too this week so they could both have one! That was soo incredibly thoughtful and appreciated!
Mimi and Papa love the babies and so even though we were not there for that long, they got to hold the babies as much as they could!
Isn't that just the sweetest of Adelyn and Papa playing peekaboo! I just love it!
Gigi and GePaw definitely got their time in with A and A too!
After all the fun at the Allison's we came back to the Fishers and hung out and Annabelle stayed with Gigi and GePaw for a while longer because she was having so much fun!
When she got back, Annabelle and Adelyn opened presents with Marmie.
It was a good and crazy Christmas but I wouldn't trade all the time with family for anything in the world and I feel so blessed that both Adam and my family truly know and celebrate the real reason for Christmas, Jesus Christ. I can't wait until the girls can know not just about Him but know Him personally!
