The Truth

Well, it's out.

The truth about what has been going on in my heart and life for the past 7 months.

Tonight, Adam and my interview airs in Memphis about my victimization by Video Voyeurism.

No, three minute TV interview could possibly do the hurt or the betrayal the justice it deserves but that was never the point of it anyway.

Never in a million years did I think it would all come out like this or even at all...but here we are...

And I have so many emotions... I'm happy, thankful, sad, relieved, scared, but overall,

I'm at peace.

I know we did what the Lord asked of us and the rest is in His hands.....

Our prayer.....His Will (Luke 22:42)....His Glory (Psalm 115:1)....

And we know that God works ALL THINGS together for GOOD for those who LOVE HIM who are called according to His Purpose.

Romans 8:28

The clip I have been seeing has definitely put a Christian light on the situation. You did nothing wrong, but you were definitely victimized. I am proud of your giving God all the glory and I am sure someone will learn from your pain.Thank you for your Godly example. I am not so sure I would have such a nice spirit at a time like that. Praying, sweet Ashley, and so thankful for Christ's nearness to you and Adam. Praise the Lord for His forgiveness and mercy and grace which has been lavished on your soul - because of Him you are able to extend it to others. Praying still for you and your family.

Ashley,

I just watched your interview and wanted to thank you and your husband for coming forward and warning others of wolves in sheep's clothing and video voyeurism. Unfortunately, I am all too familiar with wolves in sheep's clothing and false teachers who exploit the vulnerable while appearing to do the Lord's work. I can relate to having your faith shaken to its core. I applaud you and your husband for speaking out about the abuse and betrayal. No doubt you've encountered some criticism, but I firmly believe that Christians who defend abusers in ministry instead of the defenseless is bringing great harm to the Church. You did a great thing in speaking out!
